Updates: What's new?

  • Check out my newest novel, my Gilded Age historical romance,
An Unlikely Suitor.  It’s the story of an immigrant seamstress who
befriends a wealthy socialite during the summer season in Newport, RI.
Complications, true friendship, and romance ensue.  Isn't the cover
    gorgeous?
It was just named one of Booklist's Top Ten Romance Novels
          of 2011!

  •  I've started an historical fiction blog with fellow author,
Stephanie Grace Whitson. It's called "Footnotes: Novel Inspirations
from History" and includes cool tidbits we've found in our research
as well as the inspiration that's led us to write our books.
    Check it out here.

  •                         Another Gilded Age novel you might enjoy is Masquerade. It's set
in 1886 NYC and is about an English heiress who's supposed to
marry an American from the Vanderbilt crowd. She has second
thoughts and gets her maid to assume her identity. It's a love
story that contrasts the filthy rich with the poor in the immigrant
slums. Imagine The Prince and the Pauper meets "Titanic" meets
                                   Age of Innocence.

  •   My most recent contemporary book is John 3:16. Five people looking
for a reason to keep living are about to find it in the last place they
expected. Their lives intersect on a bright, fall day, when one of them
holds up a sign at a football game with a short message: John 3:16.
This simple act of faith has the power to change their lives forever.

  •                             Feeling Patriotic?  You'll enjoy Washington's Lady, a bio-novel
about our first, First Lady. It's said that without George
Washington there would be no United States, but without
Martha, there would be no George Washington.  She was one
amazing lady!  History and a love story?  You can't go wrong.
God bless America, land that I love . . .

  •  Calling all fans of The Sister Circle Series!  If you'd like to keep the

be enriched by diving into the to-dos, how-tos, and good news about
    being a Sister in Christ!

  •   How about a women's retreat?  Nancy and Brenda Josee would love to entertain and inspire
your church group with their Sister Circle Seminar. There's laughter, frilly dresses, sister-ship,
bonding, discovering your gifts--and hopefully your purpose, God time, reflection time, fun
